Hey, my gf keeps hinting at me to propose. i love her and i would love to propose to her but the only problem is i dont have the money for the ring i want to buy. it's a 3500 nice white gold ring with a decent size stone!

What do you think? to much on a ring?

Yes to much. IMO

But it depends on a whole bunch of other factors. Financial status etc etc

Just give her a fake/plastic ring for the time being and buy one later.. some people have done that on here I believe

OP - it depends....is she expecting a really expensive ring? How far short of the needed cash are you?
