Need help!!!!!!

I turned on my Pc just now and I got a black screen saying bootmgr is missing, can somebody please help?!?!

Check boot sequence order in the BIOS, just in case it has gone out of sync and is trying to boot from a flash drive ect.

If not then double check all cables to the Hard drives.

is your hard drive showing up in the bios / boot screen ?

The only things I get are the msi motherboard screen thing and the bootmgr thing

Edit it shows up in the bios

What is your system specs, using a SSD or mechanical drive?

You either have a corrupt boot manager or the hard drive had failed. You could pop the Windows disc in and try repair the windows installation.

But.. Are you sure the hard drive is the first drive and double check that all card readers / flash drives are removed.

I've tried swapping the DVD drive and hard drive connections round but no luck and I'll have to wait if I need the windows 7 install disc as my friend has it just now

Is it possible to fix the problem by using a different hard drive?

I tried using a different hard drive and it keeps blue screening, anyone know why?
