Hi Guys,

I just transferred all my kit over from my Shinobi to 750D and swapped my 7970 for a 7990.

I am now having problems with two of my four HDD's.

One is a 1TB Samsung F3 drive which is showing a score of 1 for Spin Up Time in the SMART monitor and giving me warnings all over the place.

The other is a newer WD Red 3TB drive which is running at a snails pace like less than 1mb/s. The other WD Red 3TB is running fine and is copying data nice and quick.

Samsung Drive says this:

WD Drive says this:

Are the drives not getting enough power or something from the PSU? I find it very odd that I am having these issues at exactly the same time after a case migration.

Seriously appreciate any help guys I am pulling my hair out here.

Ok well the Samsung drive just failed.

After resetting the CMOS and removing the GPU (just to try it while I was there) I turned the computer back on and the Samsung drive made 3 or 4 cracking sounds like ball bearings hitting each other and has now failed completely.

A bit of a ball ache really as it was in striped mode with my other 1TB drive so I have lost my entire steam library which was 1.4TB lol!

It still hasn't fixed my WD drive issue though as that is still running slow as hell!
