Need help

Hey guys

Just did a build for my auntie. She is trying to connect the PC to the internet but it is refusing to connect. She is using a devolo 500av network adaptor. The system specs are:
Intel 4330
1TB HHD
60GB SSD
Antec VP450P
Teamgroup elite back 8gb 1600MHz
Asus H81M-E

Any help would be great

are the drivers installed and showing as installed in device manager

She has installed devolo cockpit via a USB stick

The mobo comes with a CD, do i need to install the CD for the drivers?

How is the PC connecting to the Devolo - wired or wireless?

go into device manager and beside the network adaptor if there is a yellow warning triangle means no driver installed.

and yes the driver normally comes with the motherboard cd if its an on board device your using

Will it work if she goes to this link: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H81ME/HelpDesk_Download/ clicks on drivers and clicks onto LAN and installs those? Which one would she install. BTW she is running windows 7 64bit

When you set it up, did you install drivers?

This should be the first step after getting Windows on there.

Check Device Mangaer for any unkown entries..
