Need more grunt

Hi all

Need some idea's of an upgrade route

Will 2 x new Gpu's be sufficient to keep me in the loop with triple screen 5760x1080 gaming, my current cards are now struggling..or will i need (although dont really want to due to affordability at current time) to upgrade the core bundle parts too ?

current spec

Gigabyte Z77-D3H
i5 3570K, 3.40GHz @ 4.40GHz
2x MSI HD 7950 TFrozr III OC V2
TripleScreen 5760x1080

be interesting to know what other people with a similar setup are running too

Could drop a couple RX 480s in no sweat and get quite a bit of £ back from resale of the 7950s

Nah, its more middle as there is a 490 coming.

but currently its there best card ? over the R9 fury etc ? ive not been in the loop for a few years

Its currently the best/newest card they have.

But there are things like the FuryPro (which is dual gpu on a single card) that is faster but will destroy your wallet.

Your current cards are old enough where a single, newer, powerful gfx card is going to smash them at that resolution.

Isnt that rumored to be a dual 480 card or am I reading wrong?

Do not know, but a RX480 cant be high end as it doesn't even match Nvidias GTX1070 and is likely to get smashed by a GTX1060.

P.S the 1060 nda is the 28th, so you should know more then.
