need new computer

Hmm sorry didn't realise the 6950's were only 1gb but it would still be okay if your gonna crossfire them. I choose the i7 2600k because I thought it may be future proof but the i5 2500k will definitely be no different in games of today.

Personally I would still choose the crusial C300 over the vertex 2 because I have had many issues with it. Also the F3 is one of the fastest 7200rpm hardrives you can get and should also be reliable.

Someone stated getting a 750 watts psu which might be pushing it with crossfire especially as cards slowly seem to be using more power as time goes on.

whats so hard about removing two graphics cards? 'oh god, so much effort, i have to remove two graphics cards, im gonna die from the exertion'
selling them shouldnt be too much of a problem. im sure theres a market for low end cards (which they would be when you want to remove them) and the possibility of crossfire might interest buyers.

the antec has also had its fair share of problems. ive heard they have problems with the mounting system. and since when has the H50 been a bad cooler???? never heard of any problems with them atall

*edit*
stulid, why go for the 6990, when crossfired flashed 6950's would be better and £80 cheaper (surely more than the value of those games)

My point was more that it will be more significant in cost, which I'm fairly sure was apparent - maybe not.

Show me where I said a H50 was bad, please. Show me where I said the Antec was problem free. Show me where I said anything about mounting mechanisms.

Sheesh, what is your problem? It's a fact, the Antec doesn't have problems with the pump, doesn't leak - granted it could have a better mounting system, as you pointed out, but the same can be said for the H50.

Some reviews to back me up - wouldn't want you blowing your top unnecessarily again.

Great results from the Kühler H20 620 cooler and almost neck and neck against the Corsair H70 with fans set to high

Oh, and I don't see anything about installation problems or it being hard ;)

Installation of the Kühler is extremely easy...
Kitguru says: One of the finest performance CPU coolers on the market. Pricing is exceptionally good also.
