need new hardrive

i have currently 2 harddrives
a 250gb samsung 2501 ( going use this in caddy soon)
500gb seagate 7200.11 which is being used as opertaing system and storage,
iam finding that 500gb is fillingy up and need another,but unsure what to get
was thinking along the line of getting either a small hd about 300gb for operating, games and just use the seagate for storage,
or get another 500gb seagate which would give me 1tb of space and maybe raid them later on?
budget wise not too bothered don't mind spending on something decent

Unless you really need RAID, I wouldn't bother too much. Another Seagate 500gb would still sound fine to me though. That way you have a little extra storage in hand.

thanks for the reply, recently did hd tune on my seagate hd,seem i don't get the same burst speed as most other any idea why?
