Hi everyone, basically what im looking for is a package like the aol platinum, unliited everything for around the same money, can anyone recommend any ISP that are good or better than aol, thanks.

actually ukfsn seen to be like £2-£3 cheaper than Aquiss but Aquiss does have faster upload speeds as i do quite a lot of upload of pictures to my website. so im really unsure. And the package that seems the best to suit me would be this:

Office Max 90
90GB
330GB
£39.99 (inc VAT)

Upto 8Mbps* Download Speed
Upto 832k* Upload Speed
20:1 Contention
1 Month Contract
1 Static IP
Wired, Wireless and Gaming Console Compatible
0845 Backup Dial Service

Or

Office Max 45
45GB
300GB
£32.99 (inc VAT)

What would this be like for gaming too as i play css and cod quite abit like.

So I see, but ill not be using the uploading for gaming, its for uploading of the pictures to my site, i upload aproximatly 250 pictures every weekend so time can be a little problem. Im really interested in this, I think I may actually go with them. :)

Ah ok then, i think i will go with UKFSN but can i get out of my contract with aol as i havent received one of these emails yet about terms changing. i will be in contract for another 8 months :(

Well currently AOL have started capping me, i get my ususal 370kbs during the day and as soon at it gets to 8 the line dies to 95kbs and doesnt start up again until 8am. :(

Also rang and canceled my aol today, with no problems, they didnt try and encourage me at all to stay, lol. MAC code on its way :)

You automatically get to keep the ****@aol.com address for their AIM and email services, you just wont have access to their broadband package, You need this MAC key to migrate to a new isp so that you have no interuption in your service. If you didnt get it and you canceled and then joined up with another your dls would be down aproximatly 15+ days.

Yes I currently now an with UKFNS and loving it to be honest and i still have all my ****@aol.com addresses as well that you can use with AIM or log onto through their aol.co.uk site.

well if they have changed the Terms and Conditions from what you signed up with then yes you can change, just say you dont agree with the terms and its not what you signed up for.
