Hey, well some of you might have noticed i posted before to say that i had found a water proof keyboard after i spilt a pint over water over it drunk.

However last night after coming back from the pub i appear to have poured a bottle of water over it instead and fallen asleep on it. One of the two or maybe both killed it.

To cut a long story short, the sailtek eclipse is not drunk proof and i need a new keyboard.

Now i dont have the desk space for a really long keyboard, so the g15 etc is out of the question. I dont really have a budget, just what ever is good and i have no real need for macro keys but i do want volume keys on it. I was looking at this keyboard :

Keysonic ACK-5600 Intuition XL Keyboard

But im unsure as to what it would really be like to game on laptop keyboards. What do you guys think or suggest?

Well i wasn't drinking alchole at the pc. I just have a habbit of goin on it when i get home because i dont like going to bed drunk coz ill wake up wid such a bad hang over. Like to semi sober up first and drink like 2L of water... problem is cordination not so good then it would appear :P

Thanks very much vortx, i may just be able to fit the smaller razers. I shall look into it . Will go well with my death adder ;)

and tht sidewinder keyboard looks intresting but i dont really have a use for macros as i dont play mmo's.

TOTAL BULL............ i use a 12 quid Genius and mouse, i've had it for 5 years and i can kick almost everyones' arse on FEAR MP.

you guys are wasting money

who said i was buying it to improve my skill? Maybe i just like to use well made things and like the perks that come with them usualy? Also i dont consider FEAR MP to be the pinical of defining your skill or the quality of the hardware you use.

From the Razer website:

Razer Lycosa Mirror Special Edition

470mm (length) x 165mm (width) x 20mm (height) - without wrist rest
470mm (length) x 222mm (width) x 20mm (height) - with wrist rest

Razer Arctosa

470mm (length) x 165mm (width) x 20mm (height) - without wrist rest
470mm (length) x 222mm (width) x 20mm (height) - with wrist rest

Razer Tarantula

522mm (length) x 220mm (width) x 33mm (height)

the arctosa and Lycosa will both fit, question is which one do i want?

yeah i ordered the arctosa, couldn';t justify the price of the lycosa seens as i could see no real differences. However i hope those keys dont rub off becuse mysaitek one did that. i mean i know where all the keys are anyway but its just a silly design floor.

Well its nice to know how moronic overclockers are as usual. I ordered it and the title was black/silver the invoice says black/silver and the shipping email says blacksilver. But now they send me a black version and i check the website and they have changed it to say black. Con merchants. Im so fed up of overclockers constantly screwing me around. That is disgusting because my parents cannot read the black version at all. I cant read it, though i dont need letters.

Instead of telling me they have black keyed ones they changed the description and sent me a black one. I presume black/silver means that the style is black with silver keys. Otherwize i see no reason why it has been changed. Plus it is totaly stupid to claim black/silver and randomly send you a black or a silver one because many people like to be able to see their keys. Now im stuck with the problem of not having a keyboard if i send this back.

They only make a black version... whats wrong with a black keyboard with silver keys, how can you not see the letters? Or do you mean you have been sent a black keyboard with black keys? In which case yes thats stupid lol

i mean there is a "black" version with black letters and a version with silver letters. They claimed it was silver, sent me black and then changed the details of it on the website. I have proof its not what it said when i bought it via invoice emails and shipping emails.
