hey everyone, i recently bought 2 WD caviar SE 250GB hardrives and set them up on RAID0. I wanted to see how they would perform and i was recommened to download a program called Hd tach and so i did.
After the test, i wasen't sure if the result was good or bad
So i was wondering if anyone on this forum with a abit of knowledge on this program might be able to give me their opinion on the result.

I didn't know how to upload the image using the "insert image" tab so i just used a image hosting service (hope thats allowed)
I also disabled read cache on both drives so the results did increase from 262 to 310 burst speed.
I'm also having a few problems installing the IDE SW drivers, so i was wondering if anyone can help me out on this problem. When i installed Windows, i installed all the necessary drivers from the CD which came with my motherboard.
I've noticed when i install the IDE SW drivers, Windows never shuts down or either restarts, it just freezes so i had no choice but to uninstall the driver.
I was wondering if anyone has any solution to fix this problem and if not having the IDE SW driver installed affects the performance of my sata drives.
Any help would be most appreciated
