Hey guys,

I need a pc spec'ed up for £650.

The PC will be used for Gaming, Playing media DVD/HD content/music. Needs to have a 1tb drive & a graphics card that has an HDMI port on it, it needs to be able to play whatever is thrown at it.

I know that is a bit impossible with the budget though. I've tried to do one myself but I'm not sure it is as good as some of you guys can get out of the money.

It doesn't need Windows as I already have that & no monitor is needed either.

Thanks very much for your help :)

This is what I have came up with:

Bit over budget as you can see. Ohhh poo didn't notice I put the AMD Arctic Freezer there lol, But it'll be the Intel Version of it.

Just noticed missed off a CPU cooler, but as its under budget you can pick which ever one you want

Plus as under budget you got room to change a couple of the parts around if you wish to

If you are going to game a lot stick with the e8400 or e8500 much better than the AMD tri II X3 720 i was going to get that same AMD processor but was advised to stick with what i have got.

That sounds good I think I'll stick with the Intel offering then.

Ben M Ooh is that Windows seven that I see there?

Personally I'd get a Windows and programmes drive, and a separate storage drive.

Yeah that is Windows 7, Very nice OS probably my favourite OS now & I loved Vista :)

Good point about the separate drive. I'll see what I can work into it.

Thanks for the replies

Built the PC today, Hit a roadblock though, Seems as though the graphics port on the DS3 is broken, No display on the screen.

Tried the graphics card & ram in my computer at here & they work fine. Tried my E6300 in the DS3 & my 8500GT to see if it was a problem maybe with the Wolfsdale & no go there either.

So I'm 100% it is the motherboard causing the problem :(

Sucks my friend was really looking forward to his new build!
