Hi guys..

I've just put together a new rig:

C2D E6300
Gigabyte DS3
1gb OCUK Ram
250gb Maxtor SATA hdd
HIS Radeon X1950 (needs the 6-pin connector).
One IDE device (DVD)

My current PSU doesn't have a 6-pin connector  :( So I'm using an old PCI graphics card for the time being. What PSU should I get? I am not going to spend the earth, I want something that is in the utmost, reliable. It also needs the 6-pin connector so I can use my new graphics card ;)

I have an Enermax 460ish watt thing at the moment and I like it, just no 6-pin connector.

400W is more than fine. The 450W OCZ Modstream is also really nice for the money. I'd usually recommend the FPS Sparkle here, but they appear to be out of stock. :)

I hope not!

If OCUK are correct then I'll be plugging it in on Wednesday!

This upgrade cost me more than I'd have liked but so far... its quick! (In Windows).

Can't wait to fire up the new X1950.. :D
