Hi guys, for my build i was going to go with a 750w platinum and thought do i really need 750w and do i really need platinum? Would it not be ok with a 650w gold rated psu? my spec is as follows.

Will you be looking at adding another GPU for SLI in the future?

If not a 550w will be fine.
 
Nah not fussed with that kind of stuff really, ones fine for me besides with an mATX build i reckon two would be nails to get inside lol. Only 550w? Cool

The 80% thing means that with an 800W PSU for instance, it'd actually be drawing 1000W from the wall to provide that 800W.
 
I thought mis-matching was trendy these days? :p

You should see my wifes rig, it's got all sorts of colour LED Fan's. Red, White, Blue, Orange :D
