Hi Guys

I'm breaking up my gaming PC for parts, and have three hard drives in it:

1 - SSD with Windows on
1 - SSD used as storage
1 - HDD used as storage

The SSD with Windows on it is coming out of my PC and being kept by me, to go into a MacBook pro

The other two drives are being sold

What is the easiest way for me to format and erase all data on these drives? I'm done with the PC as I've backed up everything, so I'm ready to get rid of Windows as well.

Also do I need to do anything different to the SSD that's going into a MacBook?

Cheers

Easiest way is to go into computer, right click on the drive and format as you are keeping the windows SSD.

What is the data on the drives ? Anything like bank details you then need to do a low level format. IMO It is best to keep the drives and put them into a caddy to use, Not worth the risk of someone getting something off it.

full format for the ssd and use dban for the hdd

if you have time best way is to format and write data to the drive and fill it up,films over and over ect

then format it again

Hi Guys

I got this wrong, the SSD that I have Windows 7 installed on needs to be formatted as that's the one I'm selling.

Can someone talk me through the best/quickest way of formatting an SSD that is the Windows drive?

I need to get this done by 7PM as I have someone coming to collect the SSD!

Thanks!
