hi my corsair sp2500 has pretty much died the audio is very chopy and ver very low had to turn it up to max to hear it what speaker systems would every one recommend? looking for like 2 speakers with sub

A mini-amp and some good bookshelves will knock anything made by the likes of Razer out of the park, period, and often at half the price.

If active are a must go for Edifiers, don't think that a sub is necessary because it isn't. You often see really poor speaker systems adding one to balance out small/poor speakers. A good 2.0 setup can absolutely offer better bass than a 2.1 setup with tiny speakers and a dodgy sub.

You could buy something like the Edifier R1280DBS for £100-130, they have a sub-out if you wanted to add one and it would still be less than your budget and utterly plap on the Razer speakers.

I recently retired my Logitech Z2300's (which surprisingly were still rock solid and working great after 20 odd years) I went for the Kanto ORA's. They're only a 2.0 system though, I can't say I miss the sub really. I had thought I would get a Sub8 to go with them when I got them down the line.

I use the USB-C connection on mine. Really love them, I'd recommend having a look at the Kanto ORA's personally. Attractive to look at and nice and compact too, especially enjoy having the extra space below the desk now that there isn't a sub in the way!

Someone is selling a M&K DXD808 for around that price it's a dual 8" sub, not too big so would be ideal for a PC desk system.

The sub I'm using is massive similar to SBS PB1000 luckily big room so doesn't get in the way.

These days, I don't sit and listen to music in the same way at my PC. Most of the time if I'm going to listen to music, I do it with headphones, so I guess that's why I don't really feel the need for a sub any more. Plus now I'm older I'm less willing/more aware of vexing my neighbours

I'm really enjoying the Kanto's and was thinking when I upgrade my living room TV next year I'll probably get rid of my soundbar too and get some of the Kanto REN's and have them on stands next to it

Would you consider a soundbar? I have a Creative Labs Katana v2.

If you can up your budget slightly, I am using (just bought) some ELAC Debut ConneX DCB41. No need for an amp as they are active speakers. When originally released they were over £500 but at the moment you can get them for circa £330. They are immense little speakers. I plan on adding a sub at some point but for my use so far they are more than enough!
