Need some advice from an assault

Last weekend Myself, 2 of my friends and 2 girls went to a quarry on the Hills I live near, we were minding our own business and we were climbing back to the other side of the lake.

About 10 chavs were on the other side and they started throw rocks at us (They all looked younger around 13 years old). I told them **** off. Then this larger kid (Did not know his age at the time) shouted "Wanna fight do ya!?" Obviously '**** off' means yes.

So when we got off the cliff face I waited for everyone get over, this bigger chav came around and followed them and came rushing upto me and shoved me, I shoved back and then he smacked me in the face.

Obviously I punched back and it got a bit rough (He pushed me into the lake with my iPhone 4 in my pocket **********!), after that my best friend joined in and got punched in the eye and his eye brow split open. I got out and we both pinned him to the wall and I had my hand to his throat and told him to calm down and just leave it, we pushed him away and we walked off.

Naturally I reported this incident to the police, this would make sure I could claim insurance in case my phone got damaged (luckily rice fixed it). I did not know him and the van fest was currently at the three counties so it could have been anyone.

However today on Facebook I got a message from yr8 kid form my secondary that I just left, saying the typical 'So you Were the 1 piccin a fight with my mate'. Real funny because I didn't start anything. Another yr8 kid adds me at the same time of this message and I found this awfully suspicious so I declined (just in case). However this is when my detective skills come in and I search for this guy on this kids friend list, I found him and I had a little look at his profile. His age was obviously fake because he is not 47 :D Looked at a few his pics he is quite muscular and he had a picture uploaded of a car he smashed up which he crashed into a 4x4 Police car going by the pictures description and comments.

Obviously I am going to contact the police to give them the name and facebook profile to let them deal with him but what shocks me is he's obviously old enough to drive so he must be 17-19.

I am 16, My best friend and the 2 girls were 16 as well and my other friend is 15.

My friend who is 15 is a bit small so he didnt get involved but he got shoved into the wall by this scum bag so this means an adult assaulted a child? I want to know what sort of trouble he would get in for doing this?

Oh and 'Worst I got into a fight thread' ever. :p

I'd be livid if I was pushed in to a lake, and even more angry if I had my iPhone with me. Also, from what I've heard, in the eyes of the law you're a child until you're 18. But don't quote me on that, it's just what I've heard from somebody else. So, he probably won't be prosecutable for assaulting a child, but probably for some other form of assault (unless of course, he's 19).

You should have stabbed him... thats what you kids do these days right ? Or throttled 7 bells out of the ****... People like him dont respond to anything but a shoeing....You really should have done him a favour as he will live the rest of his life now tryign to be the hard man... you could have ended it all there :(

Also thereis nothing like beating another human to within an inch of their life then viloent sex afterwards with your GF.... you missed out big time, wasted oppotunity.

Unfortunatly, going down the police route will probably lead to: -

A: Nothing
B: More hassle for you

Without CCTV or some actual proof you won't get very far. All his mates will tell a tale and there will be no evidence etc. If anyone recorded the incident on their phone it could even be skewed to make you look like the bad guy. I'd just leave it and be happy that it wasn't more serious.

Make each of them vanish, one by one... Kind of like Scream, mixed with Final Destination.

As soon as the first one goes missing, you start messaging the remaining future victims with lots of different fake Facebook accounts, telling them they're next. You could also break into their houses and leave blood messages on their bedroom walls. Some proper scary horror stuff. Big police hunt for you after you've got rid of them mind, but they won't be bothering you anymore.

:)

How do you know someone has an iPhone? They tell you...

Maybe you should find out where he lives, sneak in to his house when he's out and put the hottest chili powder you can find in to all the pairs of underwear in the house.

That'll learn 'im.

This is it I'm afraid.

You'll have to take the law into your own hands. Find them all on facebook and burn their houses down.

In my OP it states one of the kids has sent me a message. Surely that is enough evidence to say that it happened?

Yes my parents know.

I would take this into my own hands but the kids who have been identified on Facebook live in the roughest areas of Malvern (Don't want to get shanked).

I said my iPhone because it's an expensive device which went into a Lake... Saying my mobile phone could mean a cheap thing which does not really matter that much. Might as well stop the iPhone argument before it bursts into that thread from a few days ago :D

Can't shank you if they're under the ground. Around that quarry seems a good place to start.

I would rather not bury scum into an area as pretty as the quarry :o

It's quite frustrating actually. I use to love going up there when I was little'un with my dad. Now I would rather avoid it :(

Just don't tell them you're going to burn their homes down, otherwise you're liable to be prosecuted for terrorist threats lol

Put a message folded in half on a new A6 piece of paper with "I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER" on it with a black marker on it through his mailbox.:p

Just forget about it to be honest and continue on with your life....do not be afraid to go back there because of them though.(just bring some large mates with you if need be.)

It's good you stood your ground.
