need some advice from you guys..

im using 1x1gb dominator in slot 1 then the reapers in slots 2 and 4

So you therefore will not be running your memory in dual channel mode, if you wanted just 3 gig of memory, you should have brought 2x512mb sticks instead of the 1gig stick to ensure dual channel mode functions correctly.

Maybe invest in another stick of ram then anyway, 4GB is the 'sweet spot' of dual channel systems it seems..Plus you're certain to have dual channel :p

but it states at the post screen and on cpuz and everest that its dual channel ?

Just take a look at the article I posted, it will explain all there, like I quoted in my previous post for dual channel mode to work correctly you must have an even number of memory modules on your system with 2 or 4 identical memory modules not 3

Like Alex74 said, just buy another 1gb stick of dominator, although if it was me I'd rather have all my memory from the same manafacturer with exactly the same specs. If you ran with just the 2 sticks of 1gb then you will obviously get a faster throughput (128 bit as oppose to 64 bit) on your memory. Whether or not you'll see a great deal of difference in the real world is another matter. Try it and see, but the best bet would be to get a 2x2gb kit as they are cheap enough nowadays anyway.
