At the moment this is what i'm having to put up with.
5 year old HP tower.
Windows XP 64 bit edition
AMD Athlon64 3000+
1GB DDR 3200 Super Talent (which is running at the speed of PC2100 cause the ram was causing bsod's)
160GB Samsung HD
ATI Radeon X800 Gto2 le
Akasa Pax Power 400watt
Firstly i have ordered the "Coolermaster Elite 335 Case - Black (No PSU)"
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-160-CM
I know its cheap, but its bound to be better than the tiny case i'm currently using.
Now i'm stuck on which Mobo would fit inside this case. It says ATX and Micro ATX.. but then which CPU and Ram would go onto the Mobo? I've built a few PC's in the past, but at the moment i'm not familiar with current technology.
Basically i'm going to use my current HD, DVD Burner, Graphics card and PSU until i can afford better ones.
My budget would be something like £150/170 for the Mobo, CPU, Ram.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
