Need some advice on buying a BMW 97 540i

Still cleaning it - there seems to be quite a lot of coffee in hard to reach places....

So far I have found blonde hair extensions and a hairbrush full of blonde hair under the passenger seat.

Still needs a pukka valet on the leather and carpets.

BTW I found the torch in the gloebox, bulb is ok, but the torch has no power. Is it 9 year old bead batteries, or the charging circuit needs looking at (fuse maybe)?

Well I have now been driving this thing for a week with a big smile on my face!

Today she got new shoes - M5 Shadow chrome (pics to come), and M5 boot spoiler.

Now she sits lower than normal 5's on 18's..... I popped to the local BMW dealer and got the spec sheet for the car and found this...

M-Sport Suspension!

Woohoo!

Whoever 1st ordered this car had some taste, amongst other stuff there is Shadow Line, Sports seats, BMW HiFi, Auto Dimming mirrors etc...

Edit: I also took it to my local BMW specialist - who gave it the thumbs up!

Ahh, ok - It said on the vehicle options sheet, that they were "ordered options".

Heres one for you. Can anyone decypher this description.

Pics will be tomorrow I guess, it is going in for a valet clean in the morning (I have done the best I can with the garage vac) I may even get the outside detailed too :-)
 
Insurance is cheap but my company wont pay for the fuel so its a bit of a no go

Yup fully comp is about £440 with no excess, and I am 31 with 5yrs NCB - no points.

As for fuel consuption, you are aware that everytime you accellerate it costs money. I have put in £50 and I have had it a week - only got about £12's worth left!
