Hi there,

I have been out of the loop for ages and I have left it ages to action the advice I received when I last asked a few months ago

I have a dell PC. Spec in the first 3 images below. Now if I purchased the basket in the 4th picture would I be left with a relatively well balanced PC for playing games? I understand my CPU and motherboard a fairly entry level but I am not bothered enough to justify spending much over £200. Equally I want to purchase a graphics card good enough to make the CPU the bottleneck if that makes sense? Anyway pictures below, any input is welcomed!

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Do you need a new case and power supply?

Will your existing components fit in the case you've chosen (the motherboard particularly)?

If you're thinking of the HD 7850 then this might be worth a look: HIS HD 7850 IceQ 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

The warranty isn't as good as the MSI but it currently comes with a shed load of games: **THE OcUK MEGA DEAL - £150 WORTH OF FREE GAMES WITH QUALIFYING AMD CARDS!!**

The card is slightly wider than most due to the bulge at the rear of the cooler so make sure it'll fit.

Hi there,

Yes the current supply is 160w (!!!) dell OE jobbie and the case does not accommodate a normal ATX supply. Hence.

So aside from that does that look ok-ish?

Kind Regards

Alec

I can't see anything particularly wrong with what you've picked but others might have better suggestions so perhaps wait until people are around tomorrow and see what they say.

I thought I'd point out the graphics card as it's a pretty good deal with all those games.

Sometimes box shifters use non-standard components so it's best to check that what you have will fit in a new case, e.g. is it a standard MicroATX motherboard.
