Need some build advice/suggestions

Just a wee update, will be back in the UK tomorrow. Seriously considering using the parts I have ordered (See OP) to refresh my current rig (MB, Mem & CPU). The old parts from there I can either sell on or upgrade my bro's rig. Of course I'll be installing the 2nd 680 GTX asap.

Ok i got my Asus GeForce GTX 680 Direct CU II installed, not much room in there with my other Asus gtx680 reference card.
So anyway the heat and noise the new card gives off is terrible. The fan ramps up to full and the gpu is hot 98degs. Its way too noisey for my liking for Folding with. I took out my reference card to give it some room to breath and it still sits around 83 degs and the fan is 66% and its not a pleasant experience being in the same room.
EDIT: Ok guys think I might have sussed it. I moved the original card to the top pci-e slot and put the new card into the lower of the 3 pci-e slots i have ( it was in the 2nd one down) Since I've done this the card is running much cooler and quieter now.
Its Folding now and temps are down to 53degs.
Quick question, should I set the cpu threads to 2, so the other 2 can feed the cards?

I run DPAD on my cpu on very low priority to mop up any spare cycles.
My two 660ti cards seem to want about one ht core each if I let them leaving 75-80% for other things.
