Hey there,

me and my girlfriends are avid World of warcraft gamers, but were looking for a new setup

were looking at matching "Titan Krypt" AMD Athlon II X4 640 3.00GHz Quad Core DDR3 System setups

with the ATi 5770 1gb card option,

will this support and run world of warcraft fine?, and is the system in general ok for FPS games such as Call of duty?

any advice is appreciated!

Should run WoW no problems, and should be decent enough in games like CoD.

Could always up the graphics a notch (maybe GTX 460) to get a bit more performance in FPS's but 5770 will still be decent. WoW should be fine.

As long as you aren't playing at some crazy high res it should be reasonable.

well were looking at 22" monitors, will the DVI connection make much difference with the ATi card? or would an analogue monitor be sufficient? , and is there that much of a difference between the ATi and the GTX460?

It is an older chipset. I believe you can give OcUK a call and tailor the build just how you like, i.e add in an 870/880G chipset mobo for the extra features.

That "Titan Krypt" will handle WoW all day, plus games like cod are quite scalable so you are more than fine. With that build you could run a lot of games on quite high settings so you'd be laughing.

The biggest dilemma you face is keeping all them girlfriends happy lol.

The Asus 760G isnt an amazingly bad board, its does its job admirably with that set up. It may be detrimental in the futre but for now its fine. You could always try and contact Overclockers and see if they could upgrade the board to possibly the Asus Evo version for you, bit cheeky but its worth a try if its a selling point.
