Please can someone advise me

I purchased a Notebook and it arrived today with the wrong spec

It was a pre built notebook

ie site stated notebook had a 120gb hard drive but on checking

notebook only has 100GB hard drive checked in the notebook's bios

I have called the place were I bought it and they told me to call back Monday

there should not be a problem in getting this sent back for a refund?

any advice would be great

You may find that the hard drive capacity is showing 100Gb because it takes into account the 20 or so Gb of formatting.....or something like that?

Yea I remember someone on here mentioning something along those lines.

Why do you want a refund? Surely you want the laptop replaced with one which has the correct specification?

Agreed, surely this would just save a lot of hassle. If everything bar the HDD is correct and you like it, just get them to send you the same one with the 120Gb as advertised/purchased.

course it does

Oh thats settled it then!?

Just send it back, its not what you ordered. Assuming its not a Dell, in which case you might've read their sneaky adverts that say up to 120Gb HD!

(Disclaimer - There is of course a good chance I have never seen a bios that gives hard drive sizes. I'm surprised :p)
