Need some help on my work in Excel

I've got a line graph of gain (dB) against frequency (Hz).

How do I tell Excel (ver 2003) to plot a line of when gain = 3 frequency = 19.4 (or there abouts).

I don't fully understand you... haven't you supplied co-ods of 3,19.4 there?

Looking at the picture, how can I draw a line from y axis -3dB going up to the x - axis where it meets the line?

Probably easiest to draw it using the line tool, or plot a second series with the co-ordinates.

EDIT - plus I still don't really understand.

Never mind, I just drew the line across and read the figures.
