Need some help please!

Right so i OC'd easy to 3.6Ghz, just upped the FBS from 333 to 400.

Now ive set Multiplyer to x8.5 and FSB to 400, CPU volts +0.050.

CPU-Z reports im running at 3.4Ghz but Orthos says 3.6Ghz.

How can i get higher now, and is the above a concern?

P.S. Im a n00b at OC'ing.

Now im a novice at overclocking systems, but you say your running to chip at 8.5*400 that to me says you are overclocking at 3.4ghz and not 3.6
(simple math 8.5*400=3400!)
The system is picking up the max *9 which would be the 3.6, this i cant tell you why it does that, as i say im a novice!

Well now ive upped the multi to 9x its booting, it wouldnt before, so maybe the volts were low?

Im aiming for 4.2Ghz on Air....lol .

Is it possible?

How high should my volts go?

Is my RAM holding me back? 4Gb of this stuff

Just boosted the Vcore to + 0.075, multi to 9x, and FSB to 450 and set DRAM to 900Mhz!

E8400 sat at 4211Mhz

Vcore +0.075
Multi x9
Bus Speed 467
RAM 936Mhz (Not bad from some 800Mhz GeIL RAM!)

Stable so far, 5mins in Orthos.

I KNOW my ram is holding back any further OC, as its only 800Mhz, would the GEIL 1066Mhz RAM get me going to 4.5Ghz on air, or would i need water for that?

Temps are (Using Speedfan AND LCD display on mobo)
IDLE = 29/31C
LOAD (under ORTHOS) = 52C
