Need some help troubleshooting a really weird problem.

cant see a format helping. This been happening since you got the card? What card did you have before? If it was an ati then could be old drivers still on your system, try using driver cleaner or driver sweeper to remove them.

Artic cooling accelero v1 rev2 is a very good cooler btw

its too big, i'm going to use the coolink GFXChilla (http://www.coolink-europe.com/main.php?show=art_list&item=19&cat=1&cat_set=1) has had a few good reviews and looks nice as well

Nah this is new system I built a week ago(exept used my old hard drives which I formated).

No idea then sorry mate. BFG support is very good they will probably have a better idea than me. Dont tell them you tried underclocking the card cause that voids the warrenty. Give them an email and they will tell you how to fix it or arrange an rma

Anyone know if faulty RAM could cause those graphical problems by the way? also had some error today when installing a game about "data could not be written".
