Need some help with a trackpad on a laptop

Hi there,

I have just installed Windows Vista on my parents laptop which is a dell. Everything installed fine and is working as it should apart from the trackpad which works, but the scolling area (the arrows on the bottom and right hand side of the trackpad) does not work.

Any ideas on how to get this going as its quite useful.

Would be the obvious choice but I cant see them on the dell website

Find out what type it is. My Acer had this type, used updated driver instead.

What model is it, inspiron, lattitude? Did you get the resources cd with the laptop? Try downloading them on the dell site?

I still cant see anything for it though, only for XP.

Its needs a Alps GlidePoint/StickPointer Vista driver
