Alright today when I turned my computer on it displayed no video what so ever I have checked all connects and they seem to be firmly in place

And my monitor is still working if I connect my xbox to it so it's not the monitor I believe it may be graphics card but it all seems to boot up fine but there is no picture can anyone help me?

If you have no BIOS screen then it could be the input settings on the Monitor or poorly seated graphics card or RAM (Unlikely).

I've just test on another monitor and still no picture an I think the ram is fine So I think I'm just screwed will take it to computer shop Tomoz and see what they can do

It loads up the desktop then it just freezes you can see the loading circle for windows then it becomes unresponsive to the mouse and keyboard and it's been like that since I sent the last message also the power button isn't responding either so the computer won't turn off or restart unless I turn of from the socket

Sounds like a damaged Hard Drive to me... Hard drives go into quarter speed, sometimes even slower when they break.. The symptoms are as you described.

To prove me wrong you need to confirm that the computer always displays Posts screen.

What u mean by computer always displays post screens ?

Well a broken Hard drive will not stop a computer from posting (It may cause it to hang).

You won't be able to prove it's the Hard drive unless you remove it and swap it with another one.

You haven't got the Beta version of AIDA(everest replacement) running have you? I had this problem at locking up just after log in and after loads of troubleshooting found this to be the cause as it was accessing the sensors on the GPU, dunno why, uninstalled AIDA and its been fine ever since. Just throwing that in the mix as it was a bit of a random problem I had.
Didnt have the POST problems, but am not sure if you solved that part or not reading through.
