Not sure if i should have put this in the motherboard section but hey here goes.

I've just ordered this board http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-168-GI

but did not realise it was ddr3 only so i now need some ram to go with it. I don't want to spen to much on ram but want 4gig. I was looking at the following ram but will they both run and which is better?

The pc is for a friend who will be doing a bit of video editing and the usual everyday internet stuff. Maybe a little low end gaming but thats it.

Forgot to mention i'm sticking a AMD Phenom II X3 Tri Core 720 Black Edition 2.8GHz (Socket AM3) on the board.

cheers in advance.

The OCZ memory you've chosen is triple channel, whereas the Corsair stuff is dual. Because it's an AM3 board, it only supports dual channel DDR3.

Other than that, the OCZ set is low voltage and has slightly lower timings, but i'm not too sure on how well a triple channel set will work if there's only two... it should be fine, but if you buy that 6GB set, you're only going to be able to use 4GB
