I need some speakers for my PC for general use (music and games). I am not a massive audiophobe, but like my music to sound good-I definately notice the difference between hearing my songs on my Cowon D2 and my cheapy Harmon Kardon speakers! Likewise I would like the sound from games to have a little more oomph than they currently do.
I have around £70 to spend. I don't have a soundcard in my PC and was therefore looking at the Logitech Z 10s, which apparently use a USB connection and therefore don't need one as much as those which use 3.5mm jacks. Is this a good choice? Are Creative's T40s better suited to me, and can anyone think of anything else which might work well?
I would have liked to have gone the amp/bookshelf speaker route but simply cant afford it, and also figure that with no soundcard it may not fulfill its potential. Are the Z10s my next best bet?
