I'm thinking of paying for my parents to have a nice weekend (2-4 days) break somewhere in the south west or south wales. Mainly as a thank you to them for putting up with me my missus and my son for the past 6 months (both got made redundant from their jobs at the same time last year 
so we moved in to pay half the bills and also help us save some money, moving back out in march)
Can't afford anything mega expensive but can anyone give me any good ideas for some nice places to stay for a weekend break?
They've stayed in south Wales and Devon a few times in various locations and they like the countryside and picaresque villages, so anything like that really if anyone knows of anything
