Need something different...

All style and no substance that game. Opens well, has a good feel to the platforming with the animation and physics, but loses its way somewhat in the second half.

Medieval Total War 2 - on deal at GMG for less than £4, one of the best games ever made.

Sleeping Dogs - completed it last week, best £5 I ever spent lol

Some great suggestions, will get Frozen Synapse and OMD. I own pretty much everything else mentioned, bar Total War (doubt that is good in short bursts) :p

I have to echo the OP's comments on FC3 and TR, both very good but I struggled to finish both, maybe a bit too long or not enough variety.

I moved back to Skyrim for a short while and then to Dead Space 3 but still not getting sucked into either. Just got a code for Crysis 3 but not getting excited about playing that.

I'll have a look at some of the suggestion in this thread as well.

Andi.

Just got this seriously cool game Guns of Icarus Online, the general vibe of the game is so cool.

Its £7.49 on steam atm. Basically youre in a 4 man team with one steering a airship while everyone else shoots the enemy airships. Theres modes like capture the point and stuff aswell.

Very good if you fancy something a bit different.

Fez. As you originally thought.

Thread revival! As it happens I was stuck with Fez, didn't have any internet access and was working in a remote site (they frown upon using the sat link for games tbh :D) and just got back late last night. It's good, vastly overrated thought. I feel like I've detoxed from internet/gaming lol
