I've got a Packard Bell imedia S1800 here at work.
I use it for basic stuff, checking databases etc, but I also using it for backing up and transferring data. The main problem I have with this machine is that it only has USB 2. I've tried a USB 3 PCI-E card, but it spat the dummy out.
I want to have a word with my boss about doing an upgrade on this. It's running an Intel Celeron E3300 @ 2.50 Ghz, with 4gb of RAM.
Can anyone recommend a new motherboard/CPU/RAM for around the £100 mark? It does have a small motherboard in there, I'm not sure what the proper name for it is, I can't find any kind of specs on Packard Bells website.
