It's quite big when it's near your face. What's the point of watching something on a massive screen if you're 2 miles away. PSP is big enough to enjoy IMO

The DS does it pretty well too, although you need to hook yourself up with various bits to run homebrew apps.

I play mine at home, but I'm generally playing save-point to save-point per day, saving it. Be it when I'm putting something in the oven for 20 minutes, I'll sit on a kitchen stool and play for the duration, or if there is nothing on TV for 30 minutes or so.

I think it benefits it, it keeps it fresh and something to look forward to. I normally go in and pillage games, but I think I'm enjoying this even more for taking my time with it. It's excellent.

Would highly recommend a PSP with a customer firmware so you can have homebrew and whatnot opens up a lot more possibilities. plus being able to watch the odd movie and that is a definite plus. I wouldnt be without my PSP.

is God of War the same as the 300 game?

Looks a lot like it from the videos I've seen

300 wasn't a bad game, hack & slash, but was ok

I've never played 300 and I'm not generally a fan of platform hack and slash games (lack of depth etc) but God of War is something special.

God of War, FFVII: Crisis Core, the customisability of the PSP (Search around for unofficial/custom firmware etc) and the PS3 integration is enough for you to get the PSP.

I have also enjoyed:
Tomb Raider Aniversary (works really well on the small screen)
GTA Liberty City Stories, (i'm going to pick up Vice city sories when I see it cheap)
Fight Night Round 3
Lego Starwars
Ace Combat.

I agree. Without it, a few years ago I would have got a DS, now I'd still get a PSP, but when I bought mine, apart from the CFW (and GTA), the DS had better games.

Don't forget Metal Gear Solid PO and the 2 Syphon Filter games which are excellent.

Having said that I like the appeal of the DS atm, I want one just for Mario Kart and the Zelda games.

i used to have a game gear so i know how bad the battery life was. if you used the cheapo batteries from the pound shop they didnt used to work at all lol

I'm astounded how well the DS sells when a console as good as the PSP can be had for just a little more cash. Absolute necessity stick custom firmware on it, then it becomes an awesome multimedia player. And there's now many games that are class, whereas six months ago it was sparse.

You can fit more DS games on an SD card, than PSP games on a memory stick.

My mate that I play football with has it and he loves it. He's talking about footballers from lots of different leagues, so it has a lot in it. It won't be identical to the PC and Xbox360 version as it's not possible, but there is certainly lots in there.
