Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, both fantastic shows and definitely worth a watch.

Band of Brothers is well worth a watch if you havn't seen it.. But I wouldnt really consider it a series in the same sense as the others. You could equally watch episode in its own right.

Not been watching many shows apart from Scrubs and 2 1/2 Men for a while now. A lot of shows people rave about just dont really interest me, Heroes for example I thought was pretty terrible season 2, and even season 1 lost it half way through.
I've been making my way through it, its pretty good although its not something I can really watch back to back. I think just watching the first episode you'll know if its for you or not, pretty much what it says on the tin.

I own the tin special edition of that - I've maybe watched it 5-6 times now - still brilliant.

Just watched the first episode - it's a virtual clone of the concept of Bones, The Mentalist, Numb3rs and Fringe - i.e. quirky genius saves the day. Nothing new but I'll be watching the rest of the series.

Started OZ - I got through the first season and part of the second - it just didn't hold me. Generation kill I'll have to look into.
