Need to break into a mk4 golf

So I'm round at my mates and he's locked his only car key and mobile in his 3dr mk4 golf :o We can break a window to get in, but that's last resort. Anyone know a way to get in without damaging anything/too much.

Obviously message me (details in trust), not really something we want as public knowledge.

Prise the door frame out slightly be gentle though

If you were in glasgow I have a set of bags and an access kit you could have borrowed

I own a mk4 gti, and tbh this is very well known. I don't see any harm in posting it here.

It's also a none destructive method of entry rly, because after that I'd expect him to implement the solution the guy suggests in the video/blanking plate..

Nah on a 3 door you can get in the rear without breaking it ( or at least on an 8l a3, golf should be the same) you will break or damage the seals and latch though

Well he's now a passenger lock down, but still not in. Barrel spins but no joy.
 
Have also managed to press unlock button on the drivers door arm rest but nothing, and also hooked the interior door handle but the cars deadlocked itself :mad:
 
Ouch should have just taped and done the window word have been cheaper


Not got rac cover ?


This is covered and depending on the ability of the agent they'll have you in the car in no time
 
No cover with rac/AA.

Going to try again in the morning, don't want to attract too much attention... ultrasonics and alarm definitely work :o
 
Don't any of your friends have AA/RAC cover? I have called them for a friends car before, they don't mind but it counts as one of your three strikes.

Failing that, smash the windscreen, then use the windscreen cover on your insurance (seperate to your main policy).
 
The windrow hangers are made of cheese. If you have something to help you get a good grip on the glass you could probably push it down and snap the hangers. Obviously you'll need to replace them after (with proper metal clips)
 
Might be worth trying a windscreen company., I work with a couple have guys that have been and cut out a rear or side window then bonded it back in for people that have locked keys in a car.
