Hi all,

I took about 250 images at my cousins 18th and they have gone through them and decided they want a copy of every photo....whoopdedoo....

So, where can I create an album which will hold all the images? don't want to give them loads of albums.

Don't want my pants pulled down on the price either :)

Thanks,
Jake

burn the images to a CD / DVD and tell them to be thankful you didn't charge for the cost of the CD / DVD :p

I've done this for family too, and the question needs to be asked if they are 250 unique images, or are there several of each that are similar? If it's 250 great images, then I bow to your awesome camera skills! :) ;)

I think family sometimes are too polite, and don't want to hurt your feelings by saying they don't want some of your images!

They may also not realise how difficult it is to mount and display 250 images successfully in an album without them being tiny or the book being a substitute for a step ladder!

I've done some 120 picture albums with Loxley Colour, who I use for all my albums actually, both commercial and for friends/family. They aren't cheap, but then they are very good quality.

If you use their design software, with some of the albums you can just add as many pages as you need. I think all the big print suppliers will have something similar?

Other than that, then a nice album for you to print and stick your pictures in at whatever size might be the most cost effective solution, but it will be hard to keep it to one album if you are using 250 images.

Without taking the bait....a couple are similar, but I did try to variate it a lot.

Not this family, they'd tell me from the word go lol.

hmm down to personal preference really, me being lucky and having a very good a3 printer, plenty of a3 double sided paper, and binding equipment i would simply print directly onto the double sided paper, and bind using the metal binders, which can be purchased very cheaply nowadays, and end up with a book style a3 photo album

heres a quick example i threw together this morning while i was bored.

an a3 photo book made with 11 a3 double sided gloss paper, and bound at 1 end to make into a book, binder cost £30 max.

i put 20 photos to a page, so thats 40 photos per sheet( double sided )
with a total of 396 photos in an 11 page book.

you can quite easily make the pics bigger and have say 9 pics per page so 18 per sheet, so you can have the photos larger.

like i said above down to personal preference, how many per page.size you want really quick to put together too

surely a photobook from within aperture? You can just choose populate images into book. There must be a 6x4 - 7x5 option to make loads of images fit, if not someone will of made a template. Also it'll look really professional and you could make a tidy profit on it.
