Have a server which originanlly was Windows 2000 has been upgraded to 2003.

I have 4 physical disks in a RAID 5 array (disk 0) which is dynamic in windows. I have tried to extend the dynamic disk however I'm almost out of space on the array and get the error at the bottom of the attached jpeg.

I've just created a new array with two disks in RAID1 which I had spare (Disk 2)

My plan is to use Acronis and copy disk0 to disk2 then use gparted or something similar and try and increase the size of the C, which as you can see is almost out of space.

Can anyone help as I think my plan may be flawed as it is a dynamic volume, help please :)

Yup Dynamic volumes doesn't help.... You ideally need them as basic.

I've been expanding disks on servers at the mo and been using gparted on basics disks

8GB partitions - lol that's the same problem I've got as it was in the image...

You don't work for SSE do you - LOL!
