Need to get a powerful 1080ti, which one?

hey kaap, when the next cards come out, the one after Pascal, Volta I think, do you think these cards will be unlocked?

Just my guess but I think Volta will be locked down in much the same way as Pascal is. Having said that there should still be a big jump in performance when Volta arrives.
 
Would only like to see the **80 unlocked . **70 have no reason and would steal thunder from 80s. Also 80s in general wouldn't be able to touch Ti/titans in anyway shape or form .
Since 80s are always first to launch in series would get off to a flying start and sales.
