Need to Monitor Temps ??

Guys,

I currently have a custom watercooling loop on my pc and I am sure somewhere you can get a lcd display you can slide into a slot on your pc to monitor temp etc..

I want to monitor the temp for the CPU, and each of my HD4890 cards all of which are on water.

Now does anyone have any ideas of what is available for this... I know of the software coretemp, GPUZ etc but I want to be able to monitor it on the front of my case (cosmos s)

Can anyone point me in the right direction and if OCUK supply such a thing.

I assume I need some form of function display with sensors

but have only come across sensors (probes) but not for liquid cooling

Your help would be very much appreciated

Am I correct in saying that these sensors are 2 wires?? and if i just use a sensor in the loop and connect the wires providing they are also 2 wires then it will receive the same information in terms of temperature?

As you normaly get the probes for temps which are 2 wires so if I just get a sensor that is already built inside a fittings in the water loop then this should supply the same information?

I was looking at the Aerocool Easy Watch ??

Just cut off the old temp sensor and solder on the water sensor onto it. Fan controllers with temp sensors will also do the job. Google "G1/4" Temp Sensor High Flow" the one for £8.99 is the boy to go for.

Also what is the fastest and best 120mm fan to get as I am using 3 fans that came with a triple rad water kit and maybe basic fans?? is there such thing as the fastest and silent 120mm fan out there as to get as much cooling from my rad?

I use the 3 fans on top of my rad which sucks the heat out through the top of my cosmos s case..

Any Ideas ??
