Ok, well my girlfriend managed to drop her phone the other day on a tiled floor, and the 'outer screen' has cracked.
She has a Sony Ericsson Elm.
From what I can tell, the display is working fine, and it's really the glass protector that sony fit to the screen that is broken.
You can buy one of these protectors off of various sites for a couple of £, but her current one is glued down. So at the moment it is a cracked glass protector on the display beneath. If I could work out a way to remove the protector, I'm pretty sure I could probably replace the screen, however due to the glue, we can't really do that.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience replacing screen protectors such as this, and what they'd suggest for removing the glass/glue?
Thanks
kd
