Spec me a new Intel Motherboard, memory (4 or 8 GB) and a processor.
Built in graphic should be fine, no gaming at all.
I think I have everything else, its time to replace an old MB.
Something cheap but decent at the same time.
Its need for a small office.

Thanks in advance.

Which CPU do you have? And what size case (ATX, mATX, ITX)?

I don't have the PC with me at the mo so cant remember much about the CPU, I'll find that out, the case is an oldiish chieftec case, mid tower.

Thank you.

I have a Enermax Noisetaker AX 600w PSU in my old case.
Can this be used in the new build or do I need a Power supply now too?

Thanks RJC for doing that for me.
I would love that Processor but sadly its wayyyy out of my price range.
Would you please recommend me something cheaper?
Thank you again.

Sorry to keep asking :) but just remembered, if the CPU comes with a supplied cooler would this do, or do I need a CPU cooler as well?

Thank you.

Stock coolers are usually ok but nothing special. The fans on them tend to be fairly noisy as well. Irrespective of whether you have any intention of overclocking or not, any replacement air or aio water cooler will give you better cpu temps and quieter running though.

Thank you, I will have a look for one too, something cheap.

I was wondering if I need to use any Artic Sliver with that i3 Processor, or is there any pre-applied?
If there is some already on it, can I just go ahead and use it, or is it best to remove it and use AS?
Thanks.

I believe it will be on the heatsink, the provided one is fine as you cant overclock your cpu anyway, so it should run quite cool
