Need to restore pc from back up but!

Recently my music got deleted which I was able to restore less there correct names but some ids.mp3. I have painstakenly using MCE 2005 restored the album names covers etc, and want to back up the windows media players settings so i do not have to do this again.

Anyone know how I can save this, not the actual files as they are on a nother drive but just the id tags covers etc?

ID tags are stored within the MP3 file itself...

Other than that the library for WMP appears to be under C:\Documents and Settings\<USER>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player\

chances are that it will map id tags to the mp3 file name, so saving it on its own will be useless.
