Hey, I rebuilt my PC but forgot to unhide a couple of folders I need. I have reset the ownership on the whole drive and it prompted me to change permissions on the hidden folders also but I still can't see them. I've got them back through a data recovery program but that seems to lose the file extensions, is there an easier way to see them? Ta.

Open any folder and then go to Tools>>Folder Options then click on the View tab. You should see an option "Display Hidden Folders" or similar. Select this then click OK.
