Ask the Post Office perhaps?

Can't you think for yourself?

do the post office have info about all the different couriers (i know they deal with RM and PF)... if they dont your going to look very silly.

People on this forum are becoming so quick to jump on people asking for help... if you feel its a silly question click the back button.

The Post Office/Parcel Force will probably be the cheapest.

Just make sure you get a 'signed for' service, I always use the 'signed for' services now as they are so unreliable.

If your parcel weighs over 2Kg you won't be able to send it by standard Airmail from the post office.

However, if it's heavy you should be able to send it by 'International Signed For' IIRC

So true, I've lost count of the number of threads that I've read today where people have made snide remarks / rude posts in response to what are people's genuine questions. It takes longer to post a insulting reply than it does to click the back button. The phrase that springs to mind is "if you've nothing helpful / positive to say..."

Yuor right it is easier to hit the back button rather than waste your own time replying with a snide remark. The problem is that sometimes it's pure bone idleness on the part of some people (Not in this case imho). What time does my local Mcd's close or spec me a bog roll or I think I may have been ripped off on eBay threads just stink of laziness

Anything over 2kg needs to go by Parcelforce if using the Post Office to send a package abroad.

And you're talking about crazy money. Cost me £28 to send a £10 motherboard to Spain last year.

@ the OP: so, have you looked around, and what was the cheapest option you've found? My local PO have given me 3 options costing from £10.78 to 18.78 depending on how fast I wanted it to get there. I got lucky though, my PSU weighs _just_ under 2kg!:p
