So i need to Upgrade my PC. Currently running on a rather old Dell C521 that i "upgraded" with more RAM, new Mobo and case.

Main uses will be gaming,(not looking to run everything on max graphics just run stuff reasonably well[crysis,UT3 etc]), rendering 3D models and also mapping. Music, video + some image/video editing aswell but nothing major.

Things i wont need:

Monitor
OS
Optical Drive
Speakers
Mouse
Keyboard

Looking to spend around £350-400, preferably not going over. (Student loan cant afford much more :p)

Could it not be worth getting this: AMD Phenom II X2 Dual Core 545 3.00GHz (Socket AM3) processor for £20 more and getting a cheaper case instead? I've never been a fan of spending a lot on a case if its possible to get one that does the job cheaper. I don't really know though.

Also would that PSU be good enough to have the option of a graphics card upgrade a while down the line, or would i need a more powerful one?

For the extra 0.1Ghz, it is really not worth another £20 mate.

Get a quality case that will last years.! i have the 300 myself and it is one superb case.

Hmm depends on what graphics card you intent to upgrade to.

Ok sounds good.

No idea really, but if that one will run games fine then upgrading shouldnt be a problem for a long time, in which case all is well.

Ty for the help
