Hi guys,

my 4890 is starting to show it's age and I'm looking to upgrade. It's struggling on The Witcher 2 at 1920x1200, so I'm looking for something that'll play at this resolution with bells and whistles with a reasonable lifespan ie keep my gameplay nice and smooth for games around the corner as well (BF3 etc). I've been out of the loop for a while, so I've no idea what's worth looking at. I'm not an ATI fanboy, so give me some NVidia suggestions as well :)

Also, what's a 4890 worth these days if I decide to move it on?

Cheers.

Looking to spend £200 - £300 I guess. I usually buy a new one every 2 to 3 years, so I'd like to get some bang for buck + longevity ...

£50 sounds okay, I'm sure my mate would love to upgrade his card with mine at that price ;-p

I'm also running a Q6600 o/c to 3.0GHz and 4 Gb DDR2 that I'll be looking to upgrade, so don't worry about CPU bottlenecking the graphics cards.
