Need to upgrade my old 60GB SSD, Samsung Still King?

I have had the trusty Samsung 830 SSD for the last couple of years as my OS SSD and now need to upgrade to a 120GB (prices have dropped a lot!!). Is the Samsung brand still king for SSD drives, am looking at the 120GB Samsung 840 EVO as a replacement??

recommend another 830 to be honest or an 840pro - I'll be picking up a pile of 256gb 830s second hand soon for £79 each to use as a 1.5gb steam drive.

Not convinced your average desktop user/gamer will see any difference between an Evo and a Pro (I own 2 pros - so not biased) and the lifespan issue seems to be non existent.
