And a office PC that can run two 4k monitors. Approx £350.
this just screams a used ex-corp pc and then chucking in a cheap gpu inside
easily:Looking for a gaming rig 1440p, mainly Cod, fortnite and other esport titles.
Approx £600 can it be done?
A cheaper motherboard is possible, especially if you don't need wifi and are willing to go H610. CPU can be had a little cheaper too.
RX 6600 can cope with most games at 1440p, but obviously the lifespan at this resolution is limited, especially with AAA.

no, those UHD630 igpus can only handle 1x 4k monitorWas thinking that would one of those tiny mini micro units cut dual 4k the 1l units?
no, those UHD630 igpus can only handle 1x 4k monitor
you'd need an el cheapo gpu to power the 2x 4k monitor, or one that already has a gpu inside
you'd need something like a 1030 to run 2x 4k
(the alternative is to have one monitor running off the igpu and the second monitor running off a gt 710 or something mediocre)
For competitive gaming @ 1440p? No. Not unless the game is old or not too demanding. This might be of interest:The rx 6600 will it run games at higher settings? As I can rescue a coolermaster 600w from there old pc (6th gen i3)

Can The RX 6600 XT Handle 1440p Gaming in 2024? - 20 Games Tested
Today we're following up on our 6600XT benchmark video from he other day, this time seeing if this graphics card can handle 1440p gaming. For less than £200 ...www.youtube.com
Not a huge amount faster, so at least gives an idea what it is capable of and where it is already struggling.thats the 6600xt though
Just had a look at the old rig and it has the following
I3 6100
Gigabyte z170 gaming 7
16gb 3000 corsair lpx ddr4 (2x 8gb)
2tb crucial p3
Gt730
Some corsair 280mm aio
Coolermaster 600w psu
Nzxt s340 razer case
Think the mobo is on the way out as it no longer outputs video hence the gt730 and the usb ports drop off randomly which requires a restart, reason for the upgrade.Tbh that should be fine for an office PC and a couple of monitors.
You could reuse most of it tbh, swap out the mobo and cpu for something like the following:
My basket at OcUK:

- 1 x AMD Ryzen 3 4100 Quad Core 4.0GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail (SKU: CP-3D5-AM) = £64.99
Total: £159.98 (includes delivery: £0.00)
Spend the extra savings on a better gaming rig.
You could likely find a A520 motherboard for less, but OCUK don't have any in stock currently. Might be cheaper Intel options too, I'm sure someone else can point you toward that.
