Hi,
I'm not sure how to put this.
A client of mine has approached me about a few issues that he needs doing.
First of all, it's nothing illegal.
It's just a project that I would not be comfortable hosting on my usual server host alongside the rest of my already completed sites and projects.
So I am after a "seperate" web hosting package that I can use for lets call them "Black ops" ( the term is a bit strong, but I cant think how else to describe it ) type sites and domains.
It's really not as all "James Bond" as it sounds to be honest, but obviously I cant go into details here.
I'm thinking perhaps a hosting service abroad somewhere?.
Jeez, I've just re-read this post and it sounds well dodgy!!!
But its really not!!!
Really just looking for a host that will protect domain registrant info and details when a WHOIS is run on the domain.
My current hosting mob will do this for a small additional fee, I'm guessing the rest of the UK based hosting services are the same.
I think I'm right in thinking that when registering a .com domain you can opt out of WHOIS as far as your own details go, but a .co.uk domain name you either cannot or have to pay for domain protection as an addition?.
